On a sunny May evening members gathered for this year’s AGM under the wonderful new stretch tent installed in the Juniper Hall grounds, bought with funds raised over recent years by the Friends of Juniper Hall. Chairman and Treasurer (Mavis and Bryony) cut the ribbon to formally open this beautiful new teaching resource, named the Chapman Outdoor Classroom in honour of Roger Chapman, founder member and Treasurer of the Friends of Juniper Hall and previously Treasurer and Secretary of the Field Studies Council from 1964 to 1987.
Refreshing summer drinks, a brief review of the past year and a talk about Juniper Hall’s activities as part of Nature Friendly Schools, and the Friends then made their way into the building for a roast dinner.
