Over 100 people booked to explore Juniper Hall’s grounds and the many stalls and activities on offer at the Field Centre’s 2026 Festival of Nature. It was a pleasantly sunny day and there was great excitement as children were introduced to the diversity of creatures in the wildlife pond, and to birds of prey, newts, snakes and lizards brought by Wild about Britain. Families were intrigued by the variety of species that had been captured overnight as they were each carefully released from the moth trap and live mammal traps. Barbecue lunches and natural art completed the day perfectly.
