A great day of activity was held at Juniper Hall on a fine Saturday in July, with adults and children being introduced to moths and mammals, birds, bees, beetles, worms and much more. Craft activities, stands and live tracking of the species recorded during the day were complemented by a lunchtime barbecue. A presentation about the fascinating history of Juniper Hall, a tour of the building and its grounds including the new tranquil garden, also helped send everyone home with broad smiles on their faces. Thanks to all the Juniper Hall staff and members of the Friends of Juniper Hall who were involved in making it such an enjoyable and successful day, also raising valuable funds for Juniper Hall’s field educational work.
